SLM6160 series
9V, 6A DC-DC boost converter
SLM6160 is a high-performance, fixed frequency, current mode PWM boost DC-DC converter that includes an internal power MOSFET. The SLM6160 includes an integrated 50m Ω power switch that can support peak currents of up to 6A and output voltages of up to 9V. SLM6160 uses peak current control topology to regulate output voltage. SLM6160 operates in Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) mode under moderate to heavy load conditions, and in Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) mode under light load conditions to improve efficiency. SLM6160 utilizes simple external loop compensation to optimize the overall solution size, cost, and transient performance.
